Bayer IAT Regenerative Agriculture: A Collaborative Journey

At IAT our mission is to bring together university students from diverse backgrounds with industry professionals, practitioners, and philanthropists to tackle critical challenges in a collaborative, hands-on environment. The Bayer IAT Regenerative Agriculture program is currently underway, running from March 3rd to March 21st. This exciting initiative brings together 15 students from eight universities, working in teams of three, to collaborate with Bayer representatives in exploring innovative solutions both on and off the farm, optimizing the supply chain.

As part of their journey, each team had members visit the Purdue Horticulture Greenhouse, where they had the unique opportunity to explore real-world applications of their projects. During their visit, they engaged in hands-on learning and asked key questions to prepare for the upcoming weeks.

Our Program Director, Steven, was there to capture some great moments from their tour. Reflecting on the experience, he shared, "I was fascinated with the different prey-predator mites used to get rid of other pests!" It was an eye-opening experience for everyone involved, as students gained valuable insights into sustainable agricultural practices.

Over the next three weeks, the students will work together to brainstore, develop, and refine their innovative solutions. Stay tuned to learn more about the participating universities, the students, and their exciting journey. We can’t wait to share their experiences and insights at the conclusion of their participation in the program! Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, and Youtube to stay updated with the Bayer IAT and all our other exciting updates!
