Nominate a topic for an Innovate-A-thon sprint!

Innovate-A-thon (IAT) addresses problems of society, environment, and economy through three-week innovation sprints. Our unique sprints bring students from a wide range of fields of study and universities (applications open in over 830 universities via Handshake, or through direct application) to address a specific problem, and working in teams to identify technically and economically viable solutions.
IAT has conducted numerous innovation sprints over the last year, including advanced recycling and sustainability, prosthetics for developing nations, regenerative agriculture, and more.
We bring together students, members of industry and organizations with an interest in the topic. EVERY STUDENT receives a modest scholarship and gain substantial network connections building their career options. Industry and society benefit from fabulous solutions that can be implemented to advance the needs of communities.

In 2024, IAT introduced a vote process to identify topics. We will conduct a spring 2025 vote in March, 2025 to determine the first summer, 2025 IAT topic. We love to get input from all stakeholders about what topics to address through this nomination period.
Let us know what you would like to see on the final ballot by completing the nomination form!
The nomination period will close on March 15. The best of final topics will go to formal vote on March 24, and will close on April 15. Be sure to get both your nomination and vote in!
