SPONSOR A $600 STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR AN INNOVATION INTERNSHIP!

DO YOU LOVE INNOVATION? DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION? ARE YOU EXCITED TO ADVANCE THE INNOVATION WORKFORCE?

PLEASE JOIN IN SUPPORTING UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN INNOVATE-A-THON

Innovate-A-thon is entering its spring scholarship drive. Members of industry, nonprofits, philanthropists, and individuals can support a university student scholarship as they participate in one of a series of three-week ‘Innovation Sprints’.

What is an Innovation Sprint?

Three weeks spent with students, members of industry as mentors and subject matter experts to identify, ideate, and create technologically and economically viable solutions to problems of society, environment, and economy.  15-25 students participate in 3-5 teams to create unique solutions to a given topic.  Examples of topics include:  prosthetics for developing regions, regenerative agriculture, pedestrian safety, water reclamation, and rechargeable battery awareness and use.  Most topics are identified through a nationwide vote; others are designated by exclusive sponsors.

How do students benefit?

In addition to receiving a modest scholarship, involved students experience and drive the collaborative innovation process—robustly preparing them and building confidence for them in the innovation workforce.  Students also expand their professional networks and demonstrate their capabilities to industry recruiters.

Students engage with teams from across the U.S., utilizing IAT’s online collaboration platform, REMO.  Students from other 830 universities are eligible to apply directly through Handshake, or can reach out to IAT directly.

How do companies benefit?

By sponsoring a student, members of industry—including small and new innovative businesses have a unique opportunity to engage directly with innovative talent and advance innovation in their areas of interest.

How does society benefit?

Innovation is the key to new solutions, collaborative innovation is the most powerful element.  Many solutions have already been developed—and as IAT expands to over 2 IATs per month, the solutions will only continue to grow.  As noted, many topics are identified by nationwide vote, so the input from society is significant.

How can you participate?

Innovate-A-thon and its parent organization, Education2Success.org, LLC are non profit organizations. Every Innovate-A-thon is sponsored by industry, philanthropy, donations, and sponsorships.
