Innovation Career Connections: Highlights & Upcoming Opportunities

As part of Education2Success.org’s Innovation Career Connections initiative, the Innovate-A-thon team recently piloted a unique series of virtual, meaningful career conversations connecting innovative students with forward-thinking companies.
On Thursday, April 17, students and potential employers from across the country joined us for two interactive sessions. Each session began with open presentations, employers shared their talent recruitment goals, and students introduced their research, areas of study, and innovation projects.
It was all hosted on the collaborative platform Remo. This allowed attendees to connect beyond standard presentations. After the general session, participants moved into virtual “booths”, where employers provided company information via interactive Miro whiteboards and held 1:1 conversations with student innovators.

While our first Innovation Career Connections event focused on Life Sciences and Biomedical Careers, upcoming sessions will spotlight:

These career fairs are scheduled to follow Innovate-A-thon® sprints—our 3-week innovation internships that bring students together to solve real-world challenges.

Company fees range from $600-$2,500 for career fairs. Two companies will be selected to present in general session. All companies are able to set up a booth with all materials and meet with student innovators.
Join the community and learn more about these unique career fairs. Fees for companies are minimal, and students are prescreened. As students apply for the fair, the top two students will receive a modest scholarship award and will present in the general session. Students ranging from undergraduate Junior to PhD are welcome.
For Employers:
Minimal fees ($600–$2,500)
Network with prescreened top-tier talent
Present in general session or host a custom virtual booth
Sponsorships available for Innovate-A-thons ($600–$15,000)

Share your research and innovation experience
Top two applicants receive a modest scholarship and present in general session
